You must view the cam with internet explorer 5.0 or newer and have active x settings enabled
How do I enable ActiveX so I can view the camera?
For Internet Explorer, go to “Tools > Internet Options > Security”.

Click on the “Custom Level” button near the bottom of the window.

Under ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins, change all Disabled to Prompt. Re-enter the camera link into your browser again to view the camera.

Ive been planning this out for a few weeks. The camera is wireless and can be viewed on any computer anywhere with an internet connection. Eventually Im going to have at least 3 cameras around the house. That way I can keep an eye on what is going on if the kids are out playing etc. We’re planning on fencing in the backyard as soon as we can afford to do it. That will give Shelby and Erika some more freedom to play. I plan on putting another camera out front mounted up in the eaves of the house, and 1 or two for the backyard mounted also in the eaves. I can add upto 16 cameras total with this camera setup. Here is some pics of the Birdfeeder camera project. Ill be stapling the cord to the 4×4 post, and taking elmers glue and bird feed to make the camera more hidden. I may even use it as a real bird feeder too since that wouldnt hurt the operation of the camera, and I should be able to view some birds eating from the feeder with the camera. Here are the photos.
